******CT Trails Day***** EAST WINDSOR (Broad Brook) - Hike Sunday, June 2. 10:00 AM Scantic River State Park. Take in the sights and sounds on a 2.1-mile hike on a multi-use trail along the scenic Scantic River. The area is rich with recreational opportunities, from canoeing and kayaking to hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Meet near the Old Melrose Bridge (take Route 140 to Melrose Road in Broad Brook/East Windsor, turn west at the light, and go to the end of Melrose Road to River).
