Windsor Locks Fire Department

Flag as Inappropriate

The Windsor Locks Fire Department was formed in 1890. The members are volunteers and operate out of one station that protects about 12,000 residents. While mostly a residential community, Windsor Locks also has industrial facilities and businesses, many of which serve Bradley International Airport. These include major hotels, rental car agencies and parking facilities. The current fire station was built in 1974.  Volunteer Drive was built so emergency vehicles would have access to Elm and Spring streets.
