Rep. Davis Holds Town Hall in Broad Brook

On Thursday July 18th, State Representative Christopher Davis (R-Ellington) hosted a second Town Hall Meeting to discuss the 2013 Legislative Session and the current financial and economic condition of Connecticut with East Windsor  residents at the East Windsor Town Hall. After Rep. Davis delivered a detailed presentation on the recent legislation passed by the General Assembly and the issues facing Connecticut, the meeting continued with a question and answer segment with concerned residents asking questions about Connecticut’s debt and high taxes.

“One of the main responsibilities I have as a state representative involves keeping my constituents up-to-date on new legislation and the issues currently facing Connecticut,” said Rep. Davis. “As always, it was a pleasure to have another productive discussion on the direction our state is heading in with the residents of the 57th district. I’d like to thank everyone who attended both events in East Windsor and Ellington.”

For those who have questions regarding state government, but were not able to attend the meeting, Rep. Davis can be reached by phone at (800)842-1423, or by e-mail at Christopher.Davis@housegop.ct.gov.
