Bringing good luck and a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, the Savage Sisters from Somers (Sarah, Claire, and Kaitlyn) serenaded the crowd early in the afternoon at the Enfield Twin Rinks.

With another strong start, Tri-Town jumped ahead early in the game with an aggressive three periods of hockey. Tri-Town’s Rudy O’Konis (2 Assists) and Connor Wyllie (4 Assists) both had an outstanding game recording hat tricks for the first time this season.

Ryan Bialy helped add to the effort with a pair of goals. Teammates Ryan Gaidos (1 assist), Justin McCabe, Ryan Sherba (1 Assist), and Defenseman Jason Miller each contributed to a team effort with a goal each.

Defensively, Tri-Town was the superior team, physically controlling the puck throughout the game. Goalie Phil Nicolescu proved to be the defensive anchor recording over 29 saves against a fast NFA offense.

Currently ranked in first place throughout the league, Tri-Town’s 6-2 record carry them into the second half of their season.

On Saturday, January 16, Tri-Town plays at the Enfield Twin Rinks at 6 p.m. vs. New Fairfield.
