Windsor Locks Schools Being Dismissed Early
Superintendent Wayne Sweeney said dismissals are a precaution as crews remove snow from schools' roofs.
Windsor Locks Public Schools are being dismissed early today so crews can continue to remove significant amounts of snow from school roofs.
Superintendent of Schools Wayne Sweeney said the dismissals are an effort to ensure the students’ safety and there is no imminent danger.
There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten, and no afternoon or evening activities.
School dismissals will be at the following times:
Windsor Locks High School released at 12:01 p.m.
Windsor Locks Middle School released at 12:15 p.m.
South Elementary School at 12:45 p.m.
North Street Elementary School at 1:15 p.m.
