Local Students Named To Their Colleges' Dean's Lists

MACHIAS, MAINE _  Joshua Urbanski, a resident of Windsor Locks, was among more than 260 students from the University of Maine at Machias named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester.
The University of Maine at Machias is New England's only public Environmental Liberal Arts college, offering an undergraduate education uniquely grounded in the natural, social, cultural, and economic environments of coastal Maine.


CHICOPEE, MA _ The following students at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, were named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester (to qualify, a student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the semester and complete at least 12 credits):

Elms College is a co-educational, Catholic college offering a liberal arts curriculum that gives students multiple perspectives on life.


POUGHKEEPSIE, NY _  Jennifer DeLisle, of Windsor Locks, a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in Accounting, was named to Marist College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester.
Marist is an independent comprehensive liberal arts college with an enrollment of 4,200 full-time undergraduate students. Founded in 1929, Marist offers 43 major fields of undergraduate study and 12 graduate degree programs.

SMITHFIELD, RI _ Christopher Bole, a Freshman Accounting major from Windsor Locks was named to the fall semester Dean's List at Bryant University.
