Kindergarten Registration

East Windsor Public School's Kindergarten Registration forms will be available at the Broad Brook Elementary School, 14 Rye Street in Broad Brook from March 1 to March 18, 2011 between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Please pick up the forms and schedule an appointment prior to registration. 

Registration will be held Wednesday, March 23, March 24 and March 25 from 9:30 a.m. to11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Parents are requested to bring the following items, which are required, before a child can begin school.

• Proof of Residency (tax or utility bill)
• A copy of the child’s birth certificate
• Proof of immunization against the following:  DPT (dipththeria, pertussis, tetanus), polio, measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), varicella (Chicken pox) and HIB (hemophilus influenza, type B) plus a series of hepatitis B vaccine.
• Evidence of a physical examination, which includes a hematocrit or hemoglobin.  This exam must have been completed within 12 months prior to registration. 

A child may be registered without all required information, but will not be allowed to enter school until all information has been provided.  In order to enter kindergarten in September, children must be 5 years old on or before December 31.
