6 Windsor Locks High School Students to Attend Boys State

Windsor Locks High School has selected six boys from its junior class to participate in The American Legion Boys State, an educational program focused on government.

The attendees, as listed on the ReminderNews Web site, are:

  • Colin Eversdyke, sponsored by American Legion Post 0036; 
  • Brett Sherman, sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6123; 
  • Steven Lucia, sponsored by the Windsor Locks Lions Club; 
  • Nathan Seaha, sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council No. 26; 
  • Joshua Lambert, sponsored by Republican Town Committee; and 
  • Rafal Besubik, sponsored by the Democratic Town Committee.
During the June 23-27 program at Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU), the students will take part in activities ranging from court proceedings to law enforcement presentations to recreational programs, according to The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary Web site.
