24th East Windsor Community Day Steps Off On Saturday

A special recognition and ceremony for hometown heroes from the war on terror will be part of the festivities.

 

Organizers have planned a big day for East Windsor’s 24th Annual Community Day on Saturday.

The day's festivities will kick off  with a parade  which starts at East Windsor Town Hall at 10 a.m. and travels north on Rye and Main streets to East Windsor Middle School.

There will also be The Celebration & Thanking of Our Hometown Heroes from The War on Terror presented by The East Windsor Veterans Commission and East Windsor American Legion, James Richards, East Windsor Chamber of Commerce executive director, said.

The 3rd Annual Town Wide Photography Contest, live music from Drive Time Party Band, bouncing houses (one for the young and one for the older kids), choices of great food, community exhibits, crafters, business booths and visiting with neighbors and friends.
