Consumer Reports for Free on Windsor Locks Public Library Website!

People who have a library card can access ConsumerReports.org for free!

Consumer Reports Magazine has been giving people in the market for a new product the nitty-gritty on consumer goods since 1936. Now, thanks to the Windsor Locks Public Library you don't have to go out and buy the magazine to find out if you should throw down $3200 for a stationary generator or $900 for a portable one.

All you have to do is use your library card and go to http://www.windsorlockslibrary.org/ and click on the Consumer Reports button in the center of the homepage to find out all there is to know about the products you're interested in buying. The application allows the patron to access ratings, reviews, recommendations, news and comparisons, buying advice -all updated frequently - and the ability to select up to five models to compare side by side all the specifications.

And being a website one also has access to blogs, forums and video content and all for free! Searchable sections include electronics, appliances, cars, child & baby, home & garden and health. And no problem If you don't have a computer or access to the internet for there are computers are available at the Windsor Locks Public Library for public use. Just bring your library card.
