What's Happening in Government This Week, Jan Feb. 13-17

Local meetings being held in Windsor Locks and East Windsor this week.

 

Monday

The Windsor Locks Historic Train Station Restoration Planning Meeting is being held at 7 p.m. Monday in the second floor conference room of town hall. On the agenda is the capital campaign, status with Amtrak and initial steps.

The East Windsor Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the parks and recreation office in East Windsor high school. The commission will be discussing the East Windsor Dog Park, East Windsor Little League, and East Windsor Lions Club request to plant a tree at East Windsor Park.

The East Windsor Capital Improvement Planning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in town hall. The committee will hear town departments’ capital requests.

Tuesday

The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in town hall. The commission  will discuss Route 140 design guidelines and draft regulations, the plan of conservation and development, and election of officers.

Wednesday

The East Windsor Board of Finance will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in town hall. The commission will discuss its 2012-13 budget hearings and workshop dates.

Thursday

The East Windsor Board of Selectmen will have a budget workshop at 5 p.m. Thursday in town hall. The board will hear proposed 2012-13 budget requests from town departments.

Saturday

The East Windsor Board of Selectmen will have a budget workshop at 9 a.m. Saturday in town hall. The board will hear proposed 2012-13 budget requests from town departments.
