What's Happening in Government This Week

Local government meetings being held in Windsor Locks and East Windsor this week.

 

Tuesday

Windsor Locks Board of Selectmen is holding a special meeting at 6 p.m. in town hall, 50 Church Street, for the newly-elected members to take the oath of office for the 2011-13 term.

Wednesday

A special town meeting is being held at 7:30 p.m. in town hall, 11 Rye Street, Broad Brook. Voters will be asked to approve spending $70,000 for the collection and disposal of debris from the October 29 storm.

The Water Pollution Control Authority board is meeting at 7 p.m. in the WPCA administration building, 192 S. Water Street. The board will discuss North Road Sewer Extension Phase II and Phase III.

Thursday

The East Windsor Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. in room N-4 of East Windsor High School, 76 S. Main Street. An agenda was not electronically posted on Monday.

The Windsor Locks Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the library media room ofWindsor Locks High School, 58 S. Elm Street. The board will discuss school system goals.
