Local government meetings for the week of January 16.
Tuesday
The Windsor Locks Board of Selectmen meeting regularly scheduled for 6 p.m. has been canceled.
The East Windsor Boards of Finance and Selectmen, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a joint meeting at 6 p.m. in . The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the relationship and responsibilities of the town and the WPCA.
The East Windsor Board of Selectmen will meet at 7 p.m. in town hall. The board will discuss the charter revision process, and schedule budget workshops.
Wednesday
The East Windsor boards of education and selectmen are holding the annual budget public hearing at 6:30 p.m. in town hall. The boards are encouraging comments from the public on the board of education and general government 2012-13 budgets.
Thursday
The East Windsor Board of Finance will meet at 7:30 p.m. in town hall. They will discuss the board of selectmen’s recommendation to fund the shortfall for the school system, and a hear a presentation from the town auditor.
