Tuesday

  • A town meeting is being held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in   to vote on the authorization of an emergency appropriation for debris removal relating to Storm Alfred. 


The appropriation is for $1 million to address the pick-up of debris from Storm Alfred; $250,000 from the use of fund balance appropriation and $750,000 from FEMA Grant reimbursement, as requested by the board of selectmen and recommended by the board of finance.

  • East Windsor is holding a swearing in ceremony at 5 p.m. Tuesday in for officials elected on November 8. Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman is expected to appear at the ceremony.
