Safety officials are investigating the cause of the warning light.

Connecticut Air National Guard officials are investigating what caused a warning light to come on in the cockpit of a C-21 cargo jet forcing it to return to Bradley International Airport Friday afternoon.

Col. John Whitford, public affairs officer for the Connecticut National Guard, said the incident happened around noon. The pilot returned to the airport for safety reasons. There was no damage and no injuries.

Whitford said a safety officer is investigating what caused the light to come on.
