A list of action taken by boards and commissions in Windsor Locks and East Windsor.

 

In case you missed them, here’s some actions taken by local government boards and commissions last week.

The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday postponed action Special Use Permit for stockpiling of construction materials at Town Public Works Facility.

The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday approved a special use permit to allow additional parking spaces for town hall.

At a special meeting Tuesday, the East Windsor Board of Selectmen approved referring to a town meeting on October 2 spending $253,545 from reserve funds for the final payment on a 2009 Warehouse Point Fire Department truck.

The Windsor Locks Board of Education on Thursday approved spending $115,000 to make improvements to the high school’s nurses office and weight room to come in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Business Manager Les Koziara said the funds will come from the $243,500 the town approved in a referendum on June 5.
