Residents Approve WLHS Pool Projects in Referendum

Several renovations to the Windsor Locks High School pool were approved by referendum vote Tuesday.

The turnout wasn't spectacular, but the victory can certainly be described as "lopsided."

Windsor Locks residents approved a proposal to renovate the high school pool by a vote of 77 in favor to 21 against Tuesday.

The "yes" vote approved the town's appropriation of $332,938 for a number of projects intended to upgrade the swimming facility.
