Polls Open for Second Budget Referendum in Windsor Locks

Polling places will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Tues., June 18 in Windsor Locks.

Voters can cast their votes at one of the the town's two voting districts: the high school and town hall.

The budget presented at referendum Tuesday includes a number of cuts, including nearly $300,000 removed from the board of education's funding request, and $200,000 removed from the police department.

The cuts bring the mill rate increase down to .46 from 1.25.
