Information about family:
My husband, Cliff, has lived in East Windsor most of his 65 years. While my time here is only 18 years; I guess this would make me the new kid on the block. I have never lived very far as I grew up in Suffield, moved to Windsor Locks and now here; so I am a local. We have two tiny toy poodles Bogey and Bacall.

Occupation: Freight Advisor for FedEx Express
Political experience: I am a past member of the Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance, and chair of the Ethics Commission while we revised the code of Ethics.
Other experiences: Presently serve on the Capital Improvement and Pension Board. EW Rotary Club (chair the citizen of the year event), Justice of the Peace, Notary and a member of the EWDTC for 15 years serving as past secretary and treasurer.
Why did you run for office? My party felt I had the right background to assist our First Selectman Denise Menard to keep East Windsor moving in the right direction. With my past experience on various boards and commissions as well as attending BOF, BOS and Police Commission meetings I am well informed and would be ready to hit the ground running.
If elected what would be your primary area of focus? Economic development thru positive government supported by smart fiscal responsibility.
What do you feel is the biggest issue facing East Windsor today? Economic times have been very hard on our town; so developing the Route 140 corridor will help the tax base in East Windsor while reducing responsibility on us taxpayers.
What skills do you have that you could bring to the community? My management position over the years has given me the opportunity to work with various ethnic and economically diverse groups. Using active listening and finding the root issue we have been able to come to viable solutions for all concerned.
Anything else you would like to share?
I am looking forward to serving the people of East Windsor.
