Letter to the Editor: East Windsor Board of Selectmen Candidate
My name is Jason Bowsza, and I am asking for your vote to serve on the East Windsor Board of Selectmen this year.
Public service is something that I take very seriously, and am fortunate to have served in local government on the Board of Finance for the last six years, most recently as chairman. I believe that East Windsor has tremendous potential, but we also have a lot of work to be done to improve our school system, provide the services that our town needs, protect our rural character, and do so while being fiscally responsible. I hope to be able to offer what I can to the town by taking on a new challenge as a member of the Board of Selectmen.
East Windsor has tremendous potential, but we have our challenges ahead. It is important to elect a Board of Selectmen that can face those challenges in a cohesive way that puts the best interests of the community before every other consideration. I believe that my background and makes me well suited
to contribute to the progress of our town.
This year, there are five candidates endorsed by the two major political parties seeking seats on the Board of Selectmen. I hope to be one of those given the opportunity to serve. But if I had just one vote to cast for that board, I would vote for Dale Nelson. Dale has served the town well as a member of the Board of Selectmen, and on the Board of Finance before that. She is a tireless advocate for the potential of our community, she takes the time to understand issues before her, and she is always fair.
I hope to have your vote for Dale Nelson and myself on November 5th.
