Letter: Supporting Re-Election of Steven Wawruck and Joseph Calsetta
Former First Selectman Jeffrey Ives endorses the incumbent Democratic selectmen.
Dear Sir,
As a former First Selectman, I write to encourage the voters of Windsor Locks to vote for Steve Wawruck and Joe Calsetta. Both of these candidates are life long residents, who have led our town for the past six years, with a high level of dedication and passion for the job.
Whether it is major road projects, refurbishment of Town Hall, new Animal Control Facility or the new Bath House at Pesci Park, the list of capital projects is endless. The Town has received over seven million dollars from Federal and State grants to help offset the cost of these projects.
They have, worked with the State DOT, to reconfigure the RT 75/20 exit ramp and to bring the Train Platform back to the center of Town. This will help with future growth of our Grand List.
Wawruck and Calsetta deserve your vote on Nov. 8.
