JetBlue Airways Thursday launched nonstop service between and San Juan's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, officials announced in a press release.
Flights are on sale today through Jan. 13, at www.jetblue.com/new as low as $139 each way for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between Jan. 19 and February 15.
The flights leave Bradley at 7:30 a.m., arriving in San Juan at 12:28 p.m.; and leaves San Juan at 6:45 p.m. and arrives at Bradley at 8:48 p.m.
“We are proud to support the strong business and family ties between Hartford and San Juan with this new nonstop service,” John Checketts, director of route planning for JetBlue Airways, said in a press release. “JetBlue thinks the flight should be an enjoyable part of the journey, from the most legroom in coach to unlimited name brand snacks, and your own personal entertainment choices. We would like to thank the communities in Connecticut and Puerto Rico for their strong support of JetBlue.”

New travel options opening new destinations draw more customers, which benefits everyone,” Mary Ellen Jones, Connecticut Airport Authority board chairwoman, said in a released statement. “With Connecticut’s special ties to Puerto Rico, I am confident that this non-stop service to San Juan will add another chapter to JetBlue’s success story in our state.”

JetBlue also serves Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Fla. nonstop from Hartford with service to West Palm Beach beginning next week, on January 12. In addition, Hartford customers can conveniently connect to other destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America via Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, including Aguadilla and Ponce, Puerto Rico; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Bogota, Colombia; and Cancun, Mexico.
