East Windsor Invited to Natural Disaster Preparation Meeting

Residents are asked to attend the public meeting to discuss possible projects and programs.

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is working with East Windsor to update the town's Natural Disaster Mitigation Plan. 

A meeting will be held on Thursday, July 18 to solicit feedback from residents regarding how the community should deal with natural disasters.

"Now is the time to update the plan," reads a community flyer. "We'd like to know what you want your town to do to prevent or lessen the damage caused by natural disasters."

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Vernon Senior Center, located at 26 Park Place in Rockville.

Representatives and residents from the towns of Ellington, Somers, Stafford, Tolland and Vernon will also be on hand.
