East Windsor Budget Referendum Scheduled For May 14

East Windsor voters will have the opportunity on May 14 to weigh in on the proposed $35.4 million budget for the 2013-14 fiscal year.

The budget calls for a $1.26 million - or 3.69 percent - spending increase over current levels. Nearly half of the increase - some $510,000 - is allocated to capital improvements, while another $130,000 is designated for public works.

The polls - District 1 is the town hall annex, while district 2 is the town hall complex - will be open next Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
