The following information was provided by the Windsor Locks Police Department:
Windsor Locks police are investigating a robbery of the Wendy's Restaurant located at 81 Ella Grasso Tpke., which took place on the evening of Jan. 10 at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The suspect is described as a light skinned male, possibly Hispanic, with short dark hair, approx. 5 foot 8 inches tall, medium build and wearing a short sleeved polo shirt with white, yellow and brown horizontal stripes.
The suspect reached over the counter and stole cash from the register during a sales transaction and fled from the business. The suspect left the scene in what was described as a possible 1996 white Toyota Corolla. One employee was slightly injured in the incident when he attempted to stop the suspect from driving off.
