Police Blotter: March 18-24

The following arrest reports, provided by the East Windsor and Windsor Locks police departments, are accurate as of March 25, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

EAST WINDSOR

March 18

Jesse Casey, 34, of 54 Smith Lane, Burlington, is charged with speeding more than 60  mph but less than 85 mph.

March 19

Jenna Palica, 26, of 52 Winding Brook Trail, Vernon, is charged with speeding, more than 60 mph but less than 85 mph.

The next six arrests/tickets were issued during a sobriety checkpoint on North Road operated by the East Windsor Police and Metro Traffic Services:

Angel G. Benitez, 23, of 20 Douglas St., Hartford, is charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor/drugs/elevated blood alcohol level, operating a motor vehicle while registration/license is suspended or revoked, failure to display number plate or insert, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, and second-degree failure to appear.

Anthony McNair, 23, of Q-7 Mill Pond Road, East Windsor, is charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.
Sean R. Murphy, 31, of S23 Mill Pond Road, East Windsor, is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

Stephen A. Picano, 55, of 23D Folkstone Road, East Windsor, is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of  liquor/drugs/elevated blood alcohol level.

Peter K. Clark, 48, of 304 Main St., West Dennis, Mass., is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor/drugs/elevated blood alcohol level.

Wesley Dietz, 32, of 21 Powder Hill Road, Enfield, is charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Charles Griswold, 18, of 121 Wells Road, East Windsor, charged with second-degree breach of peace.
March 21

Howard W. Surowiecki, 22, of 56 Spring St., East Windsor, is charged with 31 counts of second-degree forgery.

March 22

Joanne McLaughlin, 57, of  H34 Mill Pond Road, East Windsor, is charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Thomas Hillery, 50, of 229 Sutton Drive, Windsor Locks, is charged with operating/towing an unregistered motor vehicle and improper use of a marker/registration/license.

Kaysee, S. Inmann, 23, of 73 Main St. #A, Somers, is charged with operating/towing an unregistered motor vehicle and improper use of a marker/registration/license.

March 23

Tyler E Wadsworth, 18, of 5 Manning Road, Enfield, is charged with evading responsibility _ injury or property damage and traveling unreasonably fast.

Shena Kunes, 33, of  229 S. Main St., is charged with criminal attempt to sell controlled substance to a person under 18 years of age.


WINDSOR LOCKS

March 18

Gary Ingham, 35, of 32 Chestnut St., Windsor Locks, is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree larceny and third-degree larceny.

March 20

Valerie Messenger, 41, of 88 Oak St., Windsor Locks, is charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, two counts of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

March 24

17-year-old male is charged with first-degree failure to appear, two counts of second-degree failure to appear, and second-degree larceny.
