State police were granted permission to examine Granby Police computers for evidence connected to their investigation but found nothing, according to Granby officials.  State police also executed a search warrant to seize personal computers from Bourque's home in Suffield Monday, Smith said.

"We have not discussed anything other than the fact that we are conducting an ongoing investigation," Vance said.

The Granby Police Department also would not comment on the nature of the investigation or how it was first initiated.
