East Windsor Teen Charged With Making Bombs Set to Appear in Court Monday

The East Windsor teen who allegedly made threats against his Bloomfield magnet school is scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court on Monday, according to WFSB.

Kyle Bass, 18, of Winkler Road, is facing numerous charges, including attempting to make bombs and possession of explosives, according to the Hartford Courant.

Specifically, he was charged by East Windsor police on Friday with “two counts of criminal attempt to manufacture bombs, illegal possession of explosives, possession of a silencer, possession of fireworks and breach of peace,” according to the Courant, citing police sources.

Bass was held on a $750,000 bond.

Police and members of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms on Tuesday executed a search warrant on the East Windsor home in which Bass lived after Bass allegedly made, according to the Courant.

According to WFSB, Bass made several veiled threats against the school, The Metropolitan Learning Center.
