Meet Your Best Buddy at our Pet Adoption Day!

Meet YOUR best buddy next Saturday! Our Companions is preparing for another great Pet Adoption Day July 19 at the Valerie Friedman Program Center! Stop by from 10 AM to noon to meet the newest member of your family! Applications will be collected, but pets will not be adopted on the day of the event. For more information, contact our Helpline at (860) 242-999 x.302, or email helpline@ourcompanions.org.

Our Companions helps pet owners do the right thing for their animals. When they are faced with hard choices, the Our Companions Helpline provides the guidance and care that both of them need. Take Buddy, for example. Buddy was originally rescued in 2013 from an over-crowded multi cat household. A year later, his owner is moving to California, a cross-country journey that would aggravate Buddy’s sensitive stomach. Rather than subject him to such a difficult journey, the owner contacted Our Companions to assist in finding Buddy a new home. Buddy found a perfect match at our June Adoption Event, The Big Lick. He was adopted by a great family with two young children. Buddy will be the children’s first pet, creating a lifetime of love and memories! His previous owner is thrilled, knowing that Buddy will have a happy, active life!

Hoffman Auto Group is proud to be the sponsor of Our Companions’ pet adoption events. They focus on local charities, with an emphasis on bettering the communities in which we work and live. When Israel Hoffman founded Hoffman Auto Group nearly 100 years ago, he and later his son Burton left behind a legacy of trust, community and integrity. Today, Jeffrey S. Hoffman, I. Bradley Hoffman, and Matthew S. Hoffman carry on those traditions. To learn about Hoffman Auto Group’s contributions to the community, visit: http://www.hoffmanauto.com/hoffman-contributions.htm
