Mr. Gaffney Mr. Gallucci Mr. Ole Ole and the rest of the Windsor Locks Police Officers who are using fictitious namesto post on Patch. I see that you are still choosing to be Closet Commentators. This surely means that you are not man enough or woman or COP ENOUGH to come out of “The Closet.” Since when does videotaping and uploading a Public Meeting equal Intimidation? The videographer does not script what he/she records. They only record what they see. I am taping and uploading videos so that the Towns People and General Public that are interested in what REALLY takes place at these Meetings can see what Is REALLY GOING ON and can judge for themselves. The Police Commission, Board of Selectman and other Town Boards have been operating behind Closed Doors forever and it about time they become more accountable to the Public. If you think that uploading a video is Intimidation what do you think Public Television on Cox Cable would be??? More Intimidation??? Or would it be A PUBLIC SERVICE? Not that the Public Cares much!!! Do you know that Commissioner Brace agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding with Chief Osanitch so that he will be allowed to live outside of the advertised requirements for the Chief’s Residence? Slight as it may be, a requirement is a requirement. How many other applicants for the Chief’s Position didn’t apply because of this requirement? Only Commissioner Granollati questioned this MOU. (Are you following the subject change????)
You Closet Dwellers say that the past is the past and so let’s continue to talk about NOW! (I hope you can follow these thought transitions). How about the (5) Police Officer position that are going to go to Certified Officers so that they can work on a 2nd Pension or put in their Social Security Hours. If the Towns people can, RIGHT NOW, open their doors and say to themselves I feel safe in my Community and my Police Services are good then there is ”NO IMMEDIATE NEED” to hire and fill these positions with Certified Officers. Our local men and women should be given an opportunity to compete for these Police Officers job. This should be one of the elements in” SAVING WINDSOR LOCKS. Do you” Save Windsor Locks” and have your sons and daughters not be able to afford to live here???? These (5) Police Officer position should be filled with New Recruits. The only reason to push on RIGHT NOW is so that one of the Police Commissioners can get an even BIGGER HEAD. (Follow the transition Closet Commentators). The Town has been sold a BILL OF GOODS” with the need for a” CRIME SUPPRESSION UNIT.” Wait till the Tax Collector comes a call’n in 2014!! As I have stated before the MAJOR CRIMES (murder, robberies, rape, etc.) are not that prevalent in Windsor Locks. The major roll for Windsor Locks Officers are ,for the most part, Community Services. High volume areas are Medical Aids and Traffic Enforcement. Police Case number are assigned as Major Cases (involve follow up investigation) and Minor Incidents (disturbance no arrest, lost dog, burglary alarm-no break in ,nothing stolen, neighbor dispute etc.) Mr. Brace and Selectman Wawruck have misled the Towns People on Crime in Windsor Locks. The only thing that the Windsor Locks Police Dept. needed was a New Chief. However, the Police Commission did not have enough “where with all” to put it all together If Suchocki hadn’t been forced to retire he probably would still be Chief today. Just think about that!!!! I truly don’t think that they are “Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.” Help “Save Windsor Locks” and voice your opinion to our Chief of Police, Our Selectmen, and Police Commissioners and ask that the “MASTER PLAN” be implemented more slowly so that these (5) Police Officers positions can be filled with local men and women. Give them a chance to have a career in Law Enforcement!!!! So I say, to all the Closet Cop Commentators and Their Supporters who show their level of PROFESSIONALISM and how SMALL MINDED THEY REALLY ARE, be “man or woman enough or Cop Enough “to come out of the Closet and join me at the next Police Commission Meeting.
