Why Would Anyone Shop Online for a Mortgage?

Trusting your mortgage loan originator to find the best program for you is important.

I did a mortgage application for folks today that told me they had searched online to find the best mortgage deal. They interviewed four different companies/loan officers and didn’t like the experience.

These folks taught me a lot. I asked them, what if I was one of the people that you had interviewed? Since I blog a lot, there was a chance I might have popped up. They said, "but you know what you're talking about." They were certainly inflating my ego.

So why do your mortgage with me? The fiancee offered up, the following: I trust my parents, you have done two mortgages for them. I trust my girlfriend, you did a mortgage for her and her boyfriend a month ago. OK I said, but you still shopped online anyway, why? She said because that is what we thought we’re supposed to do.

We have really become almost brainwashed and I shop for certain things as well, but not major items. I have been buying my cars from the same dealer for years, insurance from the same agent for years, used the same plumber and electrician for years, the reason, as this gal said: I TRUST THEM.

Do you want to go online to find someone to do a mortgage or work with someone you can trust?

Yes, like the Manchester Chamber tells us all.. "Get it Here!" People in your local area want your business, wants your trust, they want to be your lifetime provider!...I worry about people that are on the internet looking for loans, or mortgages. Most times I find people don't read the fine print .and someone you don't know anything about.... ..".they just want to get you a loan!" Trust the people your friends have dealt with, town people with great reputations, professions in the know! , as Joe's customers did..they came back to people who they know, trust, and like the Chamber says....they "GET IT HERE!!"
