Food Pantry Donations Needed in Windsor Locks

The Windsor Locks food pantry serves 47 families in town, and is in need of several specific items.

Windsor Locks' Department of Social Services is in need of donations, and its looking for residents to help provided some support for neighbors in need.

The food pantry currently provides services for 47 Windsor Locks residents, according to the social services department, and the following items are needed:

  • Cereal
  • Rice
  • Instant Mashed Potatoes
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Canned Fruit
  • Hamburger/Tuna Helper
Social Services is also seeking school-supply donations for the department's back-to-school backpack program, which is currently underway, and looks to fill 95 backpacks for distribution on August 15.
