Girl Scouts Hosting a Fill-the-Truck Event - Cookies for Heroes

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is hosting a Fill the Truck event on Saturday, March 19 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Meadowview Plaza on 175 West Rd (Route 83) in Ellington, CT. Girl Scout volunteers and girl members will be filling a truck with Girl Scout Cookies for Cookies for Heroes, a service project that allows community members to purchase cookies and have them sent to military personnel around the world. The public will also be able to write notes to the service women and men around the world who will receive cookies through the Cookies for Heroes program. Last year Girl Scouts of Connecticut was able to send 100,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to military troops around the world, and this year they hope to match that! Please come out to support Girl Scouts and our service women and men. For more information, visit www.gsofct.org or www.cookiesforheroes.com.
