Unemployed?

If you, or someone you know, has lost their job or are anticipating losing their job, you/they are welcome to attend regularly-scheduled meetings of The Good Works Project. The 'Project' is open to unemployed/under-employed workers of the Greater Hartford-Springfield area with backgrounds from any industry, functional area or educational level.

We provide a comfortable, informal, non-judgmental setting where you can grab a cup of coffee, network with other job seekers and exchange information. We will teach you the most effective job search techniques and tactics including networking, interviewing and, if you don't have a resume, we'll help you put one together that works. We also provide ongoing job search support.

There's no dress code and all of our services are free, including the coffee/tea.
