Sondheim Musical Comedy COMPANY

Opera House Players, Inc. presents the musical comedy COMPANY at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016 on September 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 (Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm).  COMPANY music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth.  This production is directed by Paul DiProto, with musical direction by Bill Martin, and choreography by Eddie Zitka.  Tickets available by calling the box office at 860-292-6068 or visiting www.operahouseplayers.org.  Tickets: $21 (adults), $17 (under 12/over 60), $15 (rush tickets with student ID only, available 10 minutes before curtain, limited quantity).

Seemingly happily single Robert is constantly surrounded by "these good and crazy people," his married friends, but on his thirty-fifth birthday, he begins to question whether confirmed bachelorhood is really what he wants in life.  This musical comedy is full of great laughs and some of Sondheim's most beloved tunes, including "Another Hundred People," "Side by Side," and "Being Alive."
