New Year's Day Hike

Windsor  -NEW YEAR'S DAY HIKE:  Come join the American Heritage River
Commission for the 4th annual New Year's Day hike on January 1, 2014
at the Scantic River State Park
at 1:00pm to explore the 2.5 mile loop around the Park.  What better way
to start the new year! 



   Come
explore the beauty of the Park on January 1.    Meet at Scantic River State Park
(end of Melrose Road
at the River, Broad Brook; off Rt 140).  Hike steps off promptly at 1:00PM. 
There will be a collection box for pet and people food the day of the hike
for delivery to the East Windsor Five-Corner Food Pantry.  Proper
winter footwear is required. Dress according to the weather. Dogs are
welcome.  Some parts of the trail include
