NOVEMBER EVENTS AT WINDSOR LOCKS PUBLIC LIBRARY

Upcoming events at Windsor Locks Public Library, 28 Main Street.

This year we are having trouble fitting in all of the great programming that comes our way!  Despite the upcoming holidays we have a full calendar in November, so plan to take a break from food preparation, parties, and shopping to stop down and take advantage of some wonderful FREE events at Windsor Locks Public Library, 28 Main Street this month.  Call us at 860-627-1495 to register for a program or for more information.

Thursday, November 1 @ 6:30 PM:

richly detailed biography of Windsor Locks' own Ella Grasso, the first woman
elected governor in her own right.  Purmont will share reminiscences of his
years with Grasso and read from his recently published book, described by Walter
Mondale as a "rich portrait of the woman who became a role model for so many.”
Copies of Ella Grasso: Connecticut's Pioneering Governor will be
