Windsor Locks Schools to Close Early

Inclement weather has caused school officials to call for early closings in town.

Windsor Locks Public Schools will close early Mon., Jan. 28.

School officials announced the closings hours before the state is expected to be covered with snow and ice.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Windsor Locks, and The National Weather Service has forecast snow for Mon., Jan. 28.

According to the service, snow is expected to begin falling around noon. As the snow falls, conditions are expected to worsen as sleet and freezing rain will follow.
