Tell Us: What Do You Hope To Find in Your Easter Egg

Egg hunts are scheduled for throughout the region this Easter weekend. If you could choose what was stuffed in the little, bright and cheerful plastic eggs, what would it be?

It seems that every year, dozens of children scamper about the town green and backyards in search of the colorful plastic eggs, giddy with what surprises that will find when the pop open.

More often than not, the contents include some sweet confection, stickers, coins, temporary tattoos or a sweet note of love. Most are thrilled with their take and huddle in corners with friends and parents to compare the contents. (That is, unless you live in this Massachusetts town.)

If you were to stuff the eggs, what would you include? It could be anything as small as a note with “smile” written in flowing script or maybe a passage about the significance of the day taken from the Bible. What about a check worth whatever it takes to pay off your debt, feed the poor, world peace?
