Nose Gear of Plane Collapsed While Pulling Away From Gate at Bradley International Airport

None of the 29 passengers and three crew were hurt.

Passengers had to be evacuated from a plane at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks this morning when the nose gear of their aircraft collapsed after it pushed 150 feet away from gate 27.

A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration says 29 passengers and three crew members were taken off the Embraer 145 operated by Trans States Airlines, a contractor for US Airways, after the front landing gear on the Pittsburgh-bound Flight 3503 collapsed at about 6:25 a.m.

No one was hurt.
