Connecticut Insurance Department Issues Hurricane Sandy Guidelines
The agency offers pre-storm and post-storm tips.
The Connecticut Insurance Department issued the following press release today in advance of Hurricane Irene:
Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Thomas Leonardi today announced that the Insurance Department Web site now has a dedicated Hurricane Sandy page that offers important resources for both consumers and the industry.

“The Department is offering valuable information that can help consumers with coverage questions and provide tips for creating home inventories and filing claims. This page also includes bulletins and notices on the Department’s expectations for prompt claims service and other business practices,” the Commissioner said.
