Airlines at Bradley International Airport are currently operating with reduced flight activity and officials expect the last of commercial flights to be at 1 p.m. today, airport spokesman John Wallace said.
The airlines started reducing their flight schedules yesterday when they cancelled 14 flights out of the normal 200 daily flights, Wallace said. Officials expect there will be no scheduled commercial flights at the airport for about 24 hours, he added.
“Patrons and passengers should check with their airlines, not the airport, about their flights,” Wallace said.
The airport will be open and available for emergency flights and/or diversions, he said.
Bradley will not be closed unless conditions become bad enough to create a life safety issue.
