Simple Life Solutions Helps to Reduce the Hassle

The errand service business, which serves East Windsor and several surrounding communities, will make sure you have more time to do what you want to do.

Are you looking for more free time and less hassle in your life? Simple Life Solutions can help with that.

The Ellington business, owned and run by Ashlee Leone, is an errand service that will undertake particular tasks to help organize your time and give you more time to do what you want to do.

And although it's based in Ellington, it has a large service area, including East Windsor, South Windsor, Somers, Stafford, Tolland, Vernon, Enfield, Manchester and Bolton.

The services include everything from running day-to-day errands, walking your dog, helping out after a hospital stay or arrival of a new baby, organizing your home or business, or helping out with horse farm management.

Leone, who is also the Assistant Animal Control Officer in town and works as a veterinary assistant and veterinary receptionist at Ellington Center Animal Clinic, said that she first got the idea when running around, doing errands for herself.

“If I’m running errands for myself, I can run errands for other people,” she said. “I like to be organized so I like to help people do that as well.”

Then, someone she knows was unable to take their dog to the vet, so she volunteered to do that. That got her thinking about doing things to help others out.

“I felt like there may possibly be a need for it,” she said.

Recently, a local woman had her baby a few weeks early. She had just had her shower and nothing was organized and ready for the baby. Leone helped her organize the gifts, organize the room, take things out of the package, and get rid of the garbage.

Leone said that she has also helped people clean out and organize their basements so they could have a tag sale.

“Even if I do it with somebody, it gives them a little bit of company and motivation to get through it,” she said.

According to Leone, organizing and helping small businesses is something she would like to do. She offers bill paying and invoice services, office organizing, general business errands, and more.

She went to college for equine studies and worked with horses when she got out of college, so that’s another option she would like to explore. Leone said she could do the normal small business stuff, as well as order grain, manage scheduling, provide a wait service for the vet or Farrier, organize, and declutter.

Leone said that there are a lot of small farms just trying to get by, where the owners are the operators and the trainers too, and that this way, they could hire someone as needed – as opposed to having a regular employee.
