Local Business Hosting Event to Support East Windsor Officer in ALS Run
Merlot on the Water will be holding the event to raise funds for East Windsor Sgt. David McNeice.
Broad Brook's Merlot on the Water is hosting a fundraising event for local police Sgt. David McNeice, who will be taking part in the 2013 Chicago marathon to raise awareness for the ALS Association.
Residents can attend the event at Merlot on the Water on Sept. 13 to help raise funds for the October run.
Tickets cost $25, according to the EWCC website. The event will include dancing, dining and a raffle.
ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, attacks the nervous system, resulting in progressive loss of voluntary muscle movement.
