Chopiniana - Romeo & Juliet

The Windsor Locks Youth Services Bureau has partnered with the Jorgensen Outreach for Youth program at UConn to form the Joy Program, which offers a variety of free tickets to shows for Windsor Locks youth and their families.

One such show is Romeo and Juliet.

The Russian National Ballet Theatre, directed by legendary Bolshoi principal dancer Elena Radchenko, presents MikhailFokine's masterwork Chopiniana celebrating the musical genius of Frédéric Chopin, followed by Tchaikovsky's beloved Romeo and Juliet. This dramatic and visually stunning performance upholds the grand tradition of Russian ballet in Shakespeare's tragic tale of two star-crossed lovers.
