Bentley the dog's Windsor Locks family is devastated and are seeking help in locating him.

Owner Beverly Ausbrooks messaged Windsor Locks-East Windsor Patch on Facebook and said Bentley went missing on Sunday, July 6, from the Spring Street area of Windsor Locks.

Adding to the urgency of the matter are two serious factors:

  • Bentley needs medication.
  • Beverly and family are moving out of state at the end of the week.

"Our family is heartbroken," she said.

Bentley is a bi-black Shetland sheepdog. He weighs approximately 32 pounds, has a tail with a white tip and white fur on the chest.

"He answers to the name Bentley and is very food motivated," Beverly said. "Bentley hasn't eaten since the day before yesterday. He eats at night. Bentley is also going to be a daddy. We are also being packed and loaded starting tomorrow. We are all devastated."
