Warehouse Point Fire Department Mother's Day Plant Sale

The fundraiser helps pay for firefighter activities.

The Warehouse Point Fire Department is selling plants and bouquets for Mother’s Day through Sunday at  its main station on Bridge Street.

Volunteers were manning the tables of plants Friday as current and former fire trucks sat outside.

Greg Stewart, president of the Warehouse Point Firefighters Association said the sale is one of three fundraisers held every year to raise money for different activities of the firefighters.

The plants cost $20 each, and bouquets will be available starting Saturday, firefighter Mike Balf said.
