Referendum Today in Windsor Locks on School Pool Funding

Polls are open today from noon until 8 p.m. in districts one and two.

According to the call of a town meeting held last week as a precursor to the referendum, voters will decide today whether to approve the appropriation should be made to cover these anticipated expenditures:

a. Additional costs associated with the High School Pool Roof Replacement Renovation (estimated cost $13,395.00)

b. Pool Piping & Proper, additional costs associated with Pool Steam Piping Materials & installation, and Pool Steam Asbestos Abatement (estimated cost $177,977.00)

c. Equipment & installation of Benches and Lockers in both Pool Locker Rooms, replace Locker Room Doors, Pool Ceiling Acoustics, replace Pool Spectator Floor, and replace Pool Lobby Heater (estimated cost $141,566.00)
