Potholes: Where are They in Windsor Locks?

Springtime brings blooming flowers, singing Robins and the beginning of pothole season in Windsor Locks. Mark the map to let people know where the worst are in your neighborhood.

Despite the fact that we had a virtually snow-free winter, the town's streets have still taken a beating over the winter and with spring comes pothole season.

Potholes appear when the pavement cracks, moisture builds up in the crack and then freezes and thaws. It's a problem that the town really can't avoid.

Potholes can be a yearlong problem but are especially noticeable in the spring after streets are plowed and sanded over the winter. While the areas for the most part escaped severe winter weather, there still are sections of roads that look like they've been chewed up and are in need of repair.
