Get Ready For a Little Snow

Yes, it's October. No, we're not kidding.

Mother Nature is at it again.

While we haven’t even hit Halloween yet, the National Weather Service is predicting snow for late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The service's official forecast for the Windsor Locks/East Windsor area calls for rain and snow Saturday night, becoming all snow after 1 a.m. It will also be windy, with gusts up to 28 miles per hour.

The snow should end by 7 a.m. Sunday, the weather service predicts; gusty winds will remain, but the sun will come out and the high temperature should reach 44.

If conditions are worse than expected, Windsor Locks residents can visit the town's emergency management web site. East Windsor residents can visit that town's emergency management site by clicking here.
